The NetBox Calendar is designed to keep you up-to-date with what did happen and what is to happen on this day in history. It is possible to automatically send two notes daily to your NetBox - one from a selection of historic [and semi-historic], preprogrammed calendars and one custom note entered by you.

Historic/Holiday Calendars

There are a number of preprogrammed calendars featuring dates for different interests. If you want to receive events of the day for a particular field, just choose the topic that interest you the most. You do not have to choose a specialty calendar if you want to use the custom reminder notes.

Reminder Notes

Your NetBox Calendar can also send out reminder notes for those important dates you don't want to forget (like Birthdays and Anniversaries). You can send out one reminder per day.

To add a note, enter the date in the format "month/day/year" followed by a tab [i.e., hit your "TAB" key] and then the brief note you want sent out. All this must appear on the same line (that is, before you hit the "Enter" key — the actual line will wrap in the box below). For example, to remember the anniversary of NetBox's founding on 1 July, I would enter:

7/1/96 NetBox Anniversary - founders party at 8

Enter your important reminders in the following box. Any notes you have previously entered will be displayed. You can change or delete these at will. You can enter as many dates as you wish but only one per day.
